Don't download Opera 12 if you value your flash

I killed my Firefox as it was behaving a bit slow and I thought I will replace it with Opera as my third browser, behind my trusty Chrome and Safari. Hence I downloaded Opera 12 to give it a try.

Bad move! Punishment for not reading this before I went ahead. Opera 12 evidently doesn't like Flash and will freeze cold when it encounters one; not reacting to anything. I had to force quit whenever this happened.

Hope an update to solve this problem comes soon. Or else I will remove it and stay away from it for some time. It is actually a pity as I kinda like the UI and ease of configuring the various settings...

I had a bad day...

Today was a bad day.

I didn't sleep well. Bothered by my sore throat, the cough medicine I took actually upset my stomach.

I left home without bringing my door pass and key.

At Bishan MRT station, an uncle on an electric wheelchair chastised me for rushing into the lift without waiting for him to exit. I thought he was going down too as he made no indication he was exiting.

In the evening, I left my MacBook Pro's power adapter in the office. So I am typing this before the battery is out.

I think I should sleep early to end the day...

Once Upon A Time

Finished the first season on TV. Really can't wait for the second season. It is definitely one of the best shows I love!

The fairy-tale characters are so well written, so complex and background so rich that you will feel that you cannot have known them any better. They become so real...

No longer is good and evil that clear as in the books. One will hate the evil queen yet cannot help feel sorry for what had happened to her. I can understand her state of mind which vindicates her actions for revenge.

As of today, I am officially an uncle...

Hatsune Miku - "Uta ni Katachi wa nai Keredo"

This is another song that is stuck on replay in my playlist. It is sung by a virtual singer (http://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/Hatsune_Miku) who even held real concerts in Japan, USA and Singapore. It was one of the videos of the concerts that I got to know about her and fell for this song. That video for the Japan concert has since been removed but the owner uploaded another one from the Singapore concert. Thank you very much SeyrenLK, who works with the Vocaloid software.
